What we offer

One-on-One Coaching

Enhance your writing process with a writing coach! They can walk you through ins and outs of pre-writing, drafting, and revision in the context of your own story. Sometimes having someone to work problems out with you makes all the difference.

$75 an hour – a minimum of three hours to use within 24 months.

Publishing and Marketing Overview


It’s a hard truth, but publishing is 50% creativity and 50% business management—whether you self-publish or not. That business side can be the hardest for authors to grapple with.

How exactly do you publish a book? What are the steps? How do you choose between publishing routes? Where do you start with marketing? Scissors for Ink can walk you through the terms, strategies, steps, and vocabulary of the business side of writing.
